Details on how to download or update Zoom and how to adjust the settings for a music lesson.
Download or update Zoom.
- Open Zoom
- Click on your profile picture upper right
- Click on check for updates
- Download the new version
Adjust the settings for music
- Homepage. Click on gear icon top right-hand corner
- Click on Audio
- Turn input of your mic up high
- Uncheck Automatically adjust mic volume
- Put Suppress Background Noise on low
- Check the box Show in-meeting option to enable original sound from microphone
- Check High Fidelity Music Mode
- Check echo cancellation
- Uncheck stereo audio
- Check Automatically join computer audio when joining a meeting
- Uncheck Mute my mic when joining a meeting
- Now go to Advanced (bottom right) and put echo cancellation on auto
